Convex Lasers is an independent company and is not in any way affiliated with LM/Aculight. I worked at the original Aculight for nearly 20 years. I worked on the Argos OPO since it’s inception. I still perform service on those older systems for customers who were trapped by LMA’s exit from the commercial products space.

My new “Constellation” OPO is backward compatible with older Argos systems so new modules can be added to existing systems. My new systems utilize the latest IPG Amplifiers with “feedback shutdown protection” and extra optical isolation for proven reliability and peace of mind. Single frequency amplifiers (of all types) are very sensitive to feedback and I have now provided 8X the level or prior optical isolation which removes all worry of failure. When you combine this with the “Mono Block Cavity” design, you get an extremely robust turn-key system.
